Bread is a staple food that has been part of our daily lives since time immemorial. That's why we try to find breads that make us feel good and help us eat a balanced diet.
When you buy a sourdough loaf, you get a very moist, airy bread, full of flavour and crusty on the outside. Breads made with sourdough can keep well for up to a week.

If you take the whole loaf:
For maximum freshness of your bread, we recommend taking it unsliced. This way less air gets into the loaf and the whole inside stays nice and moist for longer. When the loaf is whole, its aromas and flavours keep developing over the days.
To keep it in good condition, we recommend wrapping it in a cotton bag with a closure or, if you don't have one, a cotton cloth that covers the bread well and keeps the air out.
If you take the loaf sliced:
Sliced bread loses the crispness of its crust more easily and dries out faster. When bread is sliced, it absorbs more air and tends to go stale more quickly.
To make sliced sourdough bread last longer, it also keeps better in a tightly closed cotton bag, or wrapped in a cotton cloth.
If you want to freeze your bread, use a reusable airtight plastic bag. It's the best way to prevent freezer burn (those white patches on slices of bread).
