Kármán is a red wine under the Rioja Designation of Origin, made by Karmanwines, a new project from Bodegas Gómez Cruzado to produce wines from the Garnacha variety in the Alto Najerilla area.
Varieties: Garnacha (88%) and Tempranillo (12%).
Origin: Haro, Alta Rioja (La Rioja, Spain).
Winemaking: Destemmed without crushing, 10-day semi-carbonic maceration, cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Clay-limestone soil, in the vineyards of the Cárdenas river valley (Sierra de la Demanda).
Ageing: 8 months in stainless steel tanks.
Characteristics: red, traditional, still, fruity and juicy.
